It is best worn by those with outgoing personalities and loads of self-confidence.
Yellow, the color of sunshine, hope, and happiness, has conflicting associations. On one hand yellow stands for freshness, happiness, positivity, clarity, energy, optimism, enlightenment, remembrance, intellect and honor.Studies show that the meaning of the color yellow can be warmth, cheerfulness, increased mental activity, increased muscle energy. The color yellow helps activate the memory, encourage communication, enhance vision, build confidence, and stimulate the nervous system.
Green - Green is the color of nature and healing. Think of grass, trees, and flowers and imagine how peaceful they make you feel. Green is usually worn by individuals who are calm in nature and have the innate desire to help those around them. It is suggested that if you're ever looking to restart your life and "turn over a new leaf," green is your color of choice. Green is also worn a lot by people involved in the environment and interested in going green.
Blue - Universally, it's said that blue is the most popular color. Associated with the sky and the sea, blue is known for its calm and serene characteristics, making people feel peaceful and content. Blue is typically worn by those looking to create their own aura of serenity. Since blue tends to make people feel comfortable, it inadvertently boosts self-confidence and ambition. Individuals who wear a lot of blue are looked upon as loyal because blue is a trusting color.Pink - Pink screams of sex and romance and is worn by both men and women who aren't opposed to having a good time. This color is also meant to symbolize compassion and dealings with the heart. A pastel pink is good to wear on a first date because it shows the other person that you're capable of being romantic and in love. Wear it well, however, because too much pink is also said to symbolize promiscuity and infidelity.
Purple - Almost everyone thinks of royalty when they think of purple because kings are typically seen draped in long, velvety purple robes. Because of this, it is also seen as luxurious and sophisticated. Its association with royalty has caused this color to be worn by those looking to stand from the crowd. Purple is best worn by those who are innately unique. Who would dress like a king if they weren't one? Like most cool colors, purple can also appear very feminine.
Brown-Brown is typically worn by those who also wear a lot of green: the people involved in the environment and partaking in the go-green movement because it symbolized soil. Brown is also worn by those who are grounded and down to earth. Black - Wearing black isn't just for funerals anymore. Quite the opposite - fashion experts say that every woman should own at least one little black dress and that black is the most slimming color. Black is actually associated with authority and respect, which is why many business men and police officers are seen wearing black. Additionally, black is a "safe" color because it's often worn by those looking to go unnoticed and left alone.
White - There's no color more pure than white. It is said to promote innocence and a clean outlook on life. Those who wear white appear level-headed, optimistic, and stable. White also denotes sterility. Be forewarned, though, that discolored or faded white can have the opposite affect. White that isn't quite "bright" can make one appear outdated, morose, and overall unsavory.
Not everyone fits these molds, but these will give you the general idea of what others are thinking when they see you. If you don't like what you see and are looking to change it, analyze the different colors and think about what they mean to you and what you're looking for others to perceive about you. Do you want to appear fresher? Try more white. Your personality is what is most important, after all.
